Whenever my boyfriend or I need a particular power tool, piece of hardware, or nails, our first instinct is to head over to our local Home Depot (and I always manage to leave with a new plant in tow, as well.) This big box home improvement store probably isn’t your first choice when you’re in the market for new bedding or kitchen appliances—but maybe it should be.
While most Home Depot locations don’t carry home decor items in the physical store, you’ll be surprised to learn just how many popular brands the retailer offers online. From top names like Magnolia Home to Laura Ashley, Home Depot has an impressive selection of bed, bath, kitchen, and decor brands that will make it one of your go-to destinations for your next home decor project.
1. Home Decorators Collection
Whether you’re shopping for a new bathroom vanity or a dinnerware set for your table, Home Decorators Collection has you covered. This popular Home Depot brand offers a huge selection of home furnishings, including bedroom, office, bathroom, dining room, and patio furniture, as well as lighting, curtains, and various other pieces of home decor. Plus, this brand strikes the perfect balance between quality and affordable pricing, making it a worthwhile purchase for your home.
You might have known that Home Depot offers large KitchenAid appliances, such as refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers, but did you know it also carries smaller KitchenAid appliances, too? Yes, we’re talking about the iconic KitchenAid Stand Mixer, as well as other kitchen gadgets like toasters, blenders, and coffee pots. Bottom line? It’s a good place to check if you’re on the hunt for new kitchen accessories and are a true KitchenAid fan.
3. Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines
If you’ve ever watched HGTV, you’re probably familiar with Chip and Joanna Gaines, who star in the hit show Fixer Upper. They’re known for their signature farmhouse style, and if you love that aesthetic, you’ll be happy to hear that Home Depot carries wallpaper from Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines. The brand offers a wide range of wall coverings, including peel-and-stick wallpaper, which I’ve actually tested myself (spoiler alert: I loved it!).
4. The Company Store
The Company Store is known for its high-quality bedding—in fact, one of its down blankets was a top performer in our comforter testing—but did you know that Home Depot actually owns this brand? As such, you can purchase all sorts of The Company Store products directly from Home Depot. So whether you need a new comforter for the winter or Egyptian cotton towels for your bathroom, Home Depot has you covered.
5. Eddie Bauer
The popular clothing company Eddie Bauer is known for its rugged, outdoorsy styles, and Home Depot carries the brand’s home collection, which includes comforters, sheets, and quilts. This home decor line has the same vibe as Eddie Bauer clothing—we’re talking muted colors and lots of plaid—and its rustic aesthetic would be perfect for a summer cabin.
If you went through all the pots, pans, and utensils in your kitchen, I’m willing to bet you already own something from Cuisinart. This kitchen brand is incredibly popular—and makes our favorite cookware set and the best food processor we’ve ever tested. You can find a wide range of its best-selling cooking products at Home Depot. It offers cookware and knife sets, along with small appliances and utensils galore—basically, everything you need to become an at-home master chef.
In addition to its more traditional brand Home Decorators Collection, Home Depot also sells StyleWell, a budget-friendly line that offers trendier furniture and decor. This brand has bedroom, kitchen, and dining room furniture, as well as all sorts of fun decor accents like mirrors, lanterns, and shelves. No matter whether your aesthetic is farmhouse, contemporary, or glam, you’re sure to find something from StyleWell that suits your tastes and your budget.
8. Christian Siriano
Christian Siriano is a high-end designer who’s known for winning the fourth season of Project Runway, and while he regularly dresses celebs for the red carpet, he also has a line of bedding that you can buy from Home Depot. Many of these bedding sets feature bold colors and oversized floral motifs, and they’re all extremely elegant and highly rated by reviewers. We’d expect nothing less from such a well-renowned designer.
Home Depot carries a wide selection of the top-rated mattresses from Beautyrest, including both memory foam and hybrid styles in a range of sizes and thicknesses. The store even has adjustable bases you can purchase along with your new mattress, saving you the hassle of dealing with salespeople at the mattress store.
10. Nicole Miller
Nicole Miller is another well-known clothing designer, and while her apparel line is beautiful, so is her line of rugs. You can shop indoor and outdoor floor coverings, as well as doormats, all of which are incredibly stylish and colorful. If your home is more traditional, you could go with the Kenmare Indoor Area Rug, while those with more modern tastes might prefer the Parlin Multi Rug.
It’s no secret that we love a well-balanced, properly sharpened kitchen knife, and Henckels International is one of the top brands you can buy today. They offer chef’s knives, meat cleavers, steak knives, and everything in between, and you can shop a huge selection of the best Henckels products on the Home Depot website. If you’ve been eyeing a nice knife set, this could be a sign to finally upgrade.
This is the perfect line of bedding for any beachy or nautical-themed room. Nautica is known for its preppy coastal clothing, and its home decor line is every bit as appropriate for summertime or a coastal home. Home Depot sells Nautica comforters, blankets, and shams, many of which sport shades of blue, gray, and red. They even have Coastal Sheets with lobsters or fish patterns.
13. Laura Ashley
The British company Laura Ashley is quite popular thanks to its sophisticated, yet feminine textiles, and you can shop bedroom and bathroom decor from this brand at Home Depot. Whether you’re looking for a floral comforter or a lacy bath rug, there’s a wide range of reasonably priced home linens available online. I particularly love this Ruffle Garden Floral Cotton Quilt, which would be the perfect bed covering during the summer.
