A Greenfield woman was found dead inside her home and the victim’s husband has been taken into custody, police say

Law enforcement have taken a Greenfield woman’s husband into custody soon after she was discovered useless inside of her household Wednesday.

Greenfield Police were named to the house in the 4700 block of West Maple Leaf Circle, following an out-of-condition relative questioned law enforcement to accomplish a welfare examine because the relative obtained info that the girl was dead.

Officers found out the 50-12 months-previous woman dead within the residence.

Afterwards, police and the victim’s husband, a 48-calendar year-old person, engaged in a short standoff in Franklin prior to the person was taken into custody.

“This was a domestic incident and there is no risk to the public,” law enforcement said.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday early morning, according to the Milwaukee County Health-related Examiner’s office environment.
