Lionsgate Television Team has signed a scripted tv development offer with “Home Economics” creators and government producers Michael Colton and John Aboud.
Made by Lionsgate, “Home Economics” debuted on ABC in April 2021. The collection is centered on Colton’s loved ones and follows 3 adult siblings (Topher Grace, Caitlin McGee and Jimmy Tatro) who live at various degrees of financial protection. In May 2022 it was renewed for a 3rd period.
In addition to “Home Economics,” Colton and Aboud also wrote and generated the Netflix characteristic movie “A Futile and Silly Gesture” starring Will Forte, which debuted at the Sundance Film Pageant in 2018. They also have served as executive producers of two seasons of “Close Enough” on HBO Max, wrote the DreamWorks Animation movie “Penguins of Madagascar” and wrote a few episodes of Grownup Swim’s “Childrens Clinic.” In 2019, Colton and About gained a Writers Guild of The us Award for composing on the Comedy Central specific “The Faux News with Ted Nelms.” They are also the founders of now-defunct on the internet journal Modern day Humorist.
Colton and Aboud are repped by CAA and Jared Levine.
